Our First Aid-CPR-AED Courses Meet All USCG Requirements and are Valid for Two Years

 

USCG requires that all commercial vessels that operate with more than 2 individuals on board must have at least 1 individual certified in first aid and at least 1 individual certified in CPR. An individual certified in both first aid and CPR will satisfy both of these requirements.

In 2023, the National Maritime Center (NMC) sent 4,646 requests for additional information or clarification associated with First Aid or CPR certificates submitted. Incomplete or expired First Aid/CPR certificates are the second-most common reason for requests for additional information found in merchant mariner credential (MMC) applications.
